TAKE A SHOWER A shower can do the trick by reducing the body's core temperature this works for some people while for others it does not work,Stress hormones like cortisol and adrenaline may be released,keeping you more awake,thanks to the body's natural cooling process falling asleep may be possible.
GET COMFORTABLE Take off your socks,head warmer and gloves if the weather is not cold, wear free night wears made of silk material and use a very soft pillow or strong if you prefer
TURN ON DND Distractions sometimes make it hard to sleep, while for others distractions help them fall asleep faster.
READ A BOOK Your remedy for sleep might just be sitting in your bookshelf,it could be a newspaper, magazine or your favourite story book
TAKE WATER Taking half glass of water can help you fall asleep as dehydration can cause headache and discomfort,too much water at bed time will increase your chances of getting up at night to ease yourself
PLAY SOME MUSIC Soft music with slow rhythm can make you fall asleep mostly when you sing along
WHITE NOISE This works alot for babies and some adults,it aids sleep and may also calm anxiety,there are likes of Rain drops. SEE A MOVIE Personnaly this is my go to, it works for me and i end up falling asleep while the movie continues to play more reason you pick a good spot to place your phone or tablet.
